Does it really matter if your black or white?

Allow me to introduce myself...

      Born Malikea Rowland to Andrea and Buck on April 30th, 1986. Since I can remember I've always known that I was brought into this world to be more than just your "average chick from Brooklyn". Life for me wasn't easy, but despite my hardships I found a way to stay above water and came out swinging. No matter what I went through or where I ended up I always had a passion for writing. I've always been fascinated with words and how the simplest one could change someone's entire perspective on life. I'm a very opinionated woman and I have plenty to say, so I figured why not create somewhere for me to go and get lost in these beautiful words that I just so happen to love dearly! This is my other baby, although I'm a proud mother of a little girl with a baby boy on the way; this is my third beautiful creation. This is my offering to you, my outlet, my therapy and the one thing besides my children that's going to keep me sane! I'll keep this short being as though it's my first entry. I'll be posting on my personal Facebook page for now just to touch base with some of you and also to find out more about what you'd like to see up on the site. I'll be discussing everything from fashion to relationships, family situations, friends, work, reality tv, music... You name it and you can find it here!
